Photography is a language of memories. When I first visited my 100 year-old Great Auntie Joan in her new home, her belongings were yet to be unpacked, but a framed image of herself with her beloved husband Alan joyfully emerging from the church in a dress that she had handmade, sat proudly on her dressing room table. For me, this really reinforced the power and longevity of the printed image. The printed image truly is so magical.
