Sneak preview from Snaedis & Christopher’s stylish wedding, Copenhagen Harbour

June 12, 2017

There is no better place in the world than Copenhagen when the sun is out and the water is twinkling. The place comes alive and there is a special energy in the air. I am so thrilled that the rainy Danish weather forecast proved wrong over the weekend for Snædís and Christopher’s super stylish wedding celebrations at Langelinie Pavillonen. The day was a truly international celebration bringing Icelandic, Irish and Danish family and friends together for the perfect day full of cultural traditions such as Irish dancing and a boat trip to to take in the beautiful Copenhagen harbour. Guests were even treated to Icelandic delicacies, including fermented shark while they whizzed by the Danish landmarks. Love and laughter filled the air to create a wonderful and memorable celebration.

Snædís wore an elegant Jenny Packham dress teamed with Jimmy Choo Tori heels. A natural beauty with a bone structure to give Kate Moss a run for her money. In fact I found myself calling her Kate during the portraits! Christopher had not one but two outfits for the day making quite the handsome and stylish Groom.

The sun shone brightly making Langelinie Pavillonen a beautiful backdrop for guests to drink in the harbour views whilst revelling in the festivities.  Those who know me will recognise my love of being by water. I was fortunate enough to live a little further down the harbour for a couple of years, the beauty of the water is mesmerising, I don’t think I will ever tire of it as it can look so different depending on the light, wind and time of year. I have to say it really did look especially magical on Saturday, so calm and velvety – I’m glad we nipped  away between speeches for a few photographs. Here a few of my favourites… Huge thanks to Snædís and Christopher for having me along to photograph such a happy and joyous occasion ❤️
